Morgan Wallen‘s I’m The Problem tour is officially underway, having kicked things off in Houston, Texas, at NRG Stadium.

From having Drake, Andre Johnson, and Houston legend Mattress Mack walk out with him to lighting the stage on fire to signify his past mistakes, the tour kicked off with an electric start.

While the shows were a smash hit, celebrating fan favorite tracks along with the new music from his chart-topping 37-track record, I’m the Problem, Morgan Wallen is also going above and beyond to give back to the communities that host him.

Like last year, a portion of every ticket sold benefits the Morgan Wallen Foundation (MWF), which supports youth programs focusing on sports and music. During the One Night At A Time tour, MWF partnered with Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation to donate $500,000 worth of musical instruments to schools in need across 14 U.S. 2024 stadium touring cities.

Pretty incredible, right? To celebrate the first shows of this tour, Wallen has already made a considerable donation to the Houston community by donating musical instruments to two local high schools.

“As part of Wallen’s ‘2025 Tour Give Back’ initiative, Morgan Wallen Foundation (MWF) is saying thank you to the communities that have welcomed Wallen in with open arms by supporting music programs in touring cities. To commemorate his tour kick off, Wallen donated musical instruments to two local Houston schools: James Madison High School and S.P. Waltrip High School. Wallen donates $3 of every ticket sold to the Morgan Wallen Foundation (MWF). MWF supports programs for youth in the areas of sports and music.”

Say what you want about Morgan Wallen, but he is an artist who consistently gives back. He has his flaws, but his charitable acts prove that he is a good person inside who cares about helping others. Last year, Wallen was also one of many country music stars who donated significantly to help Hurricane Helene victims. Morgan Wallen donated half a million dollars to help his home state of Tennessee and his neighbors across state lines in North Carolina.

In a statement, Red Cross National President for Humanitarian Services Trevor Riggin confirmed that they received the $500,000 donation from the Morgan Wallen Foundation and thanked the country star for his generosity:

“We can’t thank Morgan Wallen enough for his heart and generous $500,000 donation to impact help on the ground now in the areas affected by Hurricane Helene, including his beloved East Tennessee.”

Keep up the good work, Mr. Wallen. I am sure we will hear about more charitable acts from the country superstar throughout the remainder of the tour.
